Battlefield Play4Free is an upcoming free to play first-person shooter (FPS) developed by EA (Electronic Arts) and Easy Studios and published by Electronic Arts (EA). Battlefield Play4Free is based on the Battlefield series, the game is set in the modern theatre of war. Play4Free is built on a modified version of Battlefield 2's engine, with improvements such as high resolution artwork and post-processing effects. The game was also announced to be less demanding on computer specifications. Game uses a micro-payments store system. Play4Free was announced on November 5, 2010. The game is currently in closed beta testing phase, which firstly began on November 30, 2010. The full release is slated for early 2011. The character creation happens in the oficial website of Play4Free, players can customize their face, skin color, hair etc. and choose the "class" there are currently four classes available: 1.Assault 2.Recon 3.Engineer 4.Medic Battlefield Play4Free includes contents from both Battlefield 2 as well as Battlefield: Bad Company 2.
